Ramadan Vitality — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android app “Ramadan: خسارة الوزن في رمضان” (“Ramadan Vitality”, package ramdan.nasr, the “App”), published on Google Play by Nasr for graphic / NasrTech (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

We collect nothing ourselves. The App has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no backend of ours: we do not receive, upload, store, or share your information, and we have no technical means of accessing it.

The only data processing that involves anyone other than you is described in section 3 (advertising and the fonts/styling files the App loads from Google).

2. What the App stores on your device

To build your daily Ramadan plan, the App lets you enter and track:

• Profile: the name you type, age, gender, weight, height, goal, activity level, and your Iftar and Suhoor times.
• Optional health flags you may tick (diabetes, blood pressure, kidney) so the App can show you a safer target.
• Daily logs: meals with calories and macros, water intake, steps and activity minutes, habit check-ins, and your weight history.

All of it is calculated on your device and saved only in the App’s own local storage (browser localStorage inside the App). It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else, is never used for advertising, and is never sold or shared. There is no cloud backup and no sync between devices.

Backups you create yourself

The App has an optional Export JSON button that saves a backup file to your own device. That file is created and controlled entirely by you — it is not sent to us, and you decide where to keep it or whom to share it with. Import JSON reads such a file back from your device.

The App provides general nutrition and fitness guidance only. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for medical advice, particularly for people with diabetes, high blood pressure or kidney conditions, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

3. Third-party services

Three things in the App involve a party other than you and us. None of them receives the health or plan data described in section 2.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information, because we do not collect any.

You can read how Google uses advertising data in Google’s partner-sites policy. To limit personalised ads, reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn on “Opt out of Ads Personalisation”, under Settings → Privacy → Ads on your Android device. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland), a consent prompt is shown before personalised ads are served, and you may change your choice at any time.

4. Device permissions

The App requests no sensitive permissions — no location, contacts, camera, microphone, health-platform access, or access to your files. Its reminders are shown inside the App while it is open; the App does not need notification permission to work.

5. Data retention

We do not store or retain any user data. We operate no servers or databases for this App, so no copy of your information exists on our side — nothing is retained by us for any period of time, and nothing is archived or backed up by us.

The information you enter is retained on your own device only, for as long as you choose to keep it. It stays in the App’s local storage until you delete it, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App — at which point it is removed from the device permanently. You are always in control of how long your data is kept.

Any data collected for advertising, or by Google Fonts and the Tailwind CDN when the App loads its files (section 3), is retained by those providers under their own retention schedules — see Google’s Privacy Policy and its data-retention page. We have no access to and no control over that data.

6. How to delete your data

Because your data lives only on your device, you can delete all of it at any time, permanently, without asking us:

1. Delete everything from inside the App — open Settings ⚙️ → Danger → “Delete all data” and confirm. This erases your profile, plan, meal, water, activity, habit and weight records immediately. The action cannot be undone.
2. Delete individual entries — you can remove any single meal, water, activity or weight record from its own screen, or use “Clear day” to wipe one day.
3. Clear the App’s storage from Android — Settings → Apps → Ramadan → Storage & cache → Clear storage removes all of the App’s local data.
4. Uninstall the App — uninstalling removes the App together with all of its local data from your device.
5. Delete advertising data held by Google — reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads, and use Google My Activity to review or delete activity associated with your Google account.

Deletion requests by email

You may also send a deletion request to support@nasrtech.dev with the subject “Data deletion request — Ramadan”. We will reply within 30 days. Please note that since we hold no personal data about you, our reply will confirm that there is nothing on our side to delete and will guide you through the on-device steps above.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is intended for adults who want to manage their diet during Ramadan. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because the App serves ads, ad requests are configured to comply with Google Play policies and applicable children’s privacy laws (such as COPPA and GDPR-K) where they apply. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will act on it.

8. Security

Your information remains in the App’s private, sandboxed local storage on your device, protected by your device’s own security (screen lock, encryption). We transmit no data of our own; ad and font traffic is sent directly to those providers over encrypted connections. Because there is no account and no server, there is no remote database of yours to breach.

9. Your rights

Under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. Because all of your data stays on your own device, you can exercise every one of these rights directly and immediately — export it with the Export JSON button, edit it on any screen, and delete it as described in section 6. 10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a future version of the App adds anything that affects privacy, this policy will be updated and the “Last updated” date revised before that version is released.
