Privacy Policy

The short version

Anatomy 3D is an offline anatomy atlas. It has no account, asks for no runtime permissions, and never reads your files, photos, contacts or location. The 3D models and all terminology are bundled inside the app, so studying works with the network switched off. The network is used for exactly two things: anonymous usage statistics, and verifying a purchase with Google Play.

What we do not collect

• No name, email address, phone number or any other contact detail — there is no sign-up.
• No files, photos, camera or microphone access. The app never opens a file picker.
• No location, neither precise nor approximate.
• No contacts, no calendar, no call or message data.
• No health data. Nothing you tap, search or answer in a quiz describes you or a patient, and none of it is linked to an identity.

What is collected

The app includes Google Firebase Analytics, which records anonymous usage events so we can see which parts of the atlas are actually used and where people get stuck. Typical events are: opening a body system, selecting a structure, running a search, starting or finishing a quiz, switching the interface language, and opening or completing a purchase. Each event may carry the identifier of the structure or system involved (for example skeletal or femur_r), a quiz score, and the search term you typed inside the app.

Alongside these, Firebase records standard technical information: device model, operating system version, country (derived from the IP address, which Google does not store for this purpose), app version, and randomly generated identifiers — a Firebase installation ID and the Android Advertising ID. We never receive your IP address, and we cannot connect any of this to you personally.

There is no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracker in the app. We do not sell or share this data with anyone, and it is not used for advertising.

Why we collect it

Only to improve the app: to find features nobody can discover, terms that are searched but missing from the atlas, quizzes that are too hard, and screens where people give up. Nothing else, and never to build a profile of a person.

Purchases

The complete skeleton and its quizzes are free. A single one-time purchase unlocks the remaining systems. Payment is processed by Google Play Billing; we never see or store your card details. The app stores only a yes/no flag on your own device recording whether the unlock is active, and asks Google Play to confirm that flag when you press "Restore purchase". There is no subscription to cancel.

Permissions

• INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — used for the two purposes above (anonymous analytics, and the Google Play purchase check). The atlas itself never downloads anything.
• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID — declared by Google's analytics library. The app shows no ads and does not use this identifier for advertising.
• No storage, camera, microphone, location or contacts permission is requested at any point.

Children

The app is an educational anatomy atlas intended for students and professionals. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Data retention and your rights

We hold no personal data on our side, so there is nothing of yours for us to export or delete. Anonymous analytics events are retained by Google for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically.

To stop analytics entirely, uninstall the app; uninstalling also removes everything it kept on your device. You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. For any request about this policy, write to support@nasrtech.dev and we will answer within 30 days.

Medical disclaimer

Anatomy 3D is a study and teaching tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat, and it is not a substitute for professional clinical advice. The Arabic terminology follows Unified Medical Dictionary conventions and is under continuing review.

Third-party content

The 3D models and descriptions derive from the open-source Z-Anatomy project (built on BodyParts3D), licensed CC BY-SA 4.0; the adapted models in this app are available under the same licence. Google's own handling of data from apps that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

We may update this policy; changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
