You choose the service you are signing up to and a country. The app gives you a virtual number for it. You type that number into the sign-up form, and when the service texts its code, the code appears on the number's card in the app, ready to copy.
Codes usually arrive in 4 to 10 minutes and can take up to 20 when a service is busy. If a number stays silent, the order can move you to a fresh number at no extra charge. If no code arrives at all, or you cancel a number that is still waiting, the coins go back to your balance automatically.

A number you order for a code is temporary: it stays open for a short window to receive codes, then it is gone. If you need a number for longer, rent a private line. It is yours alone for its term, receives texts only (up to 25 a day) and can be extended before it ends. Neither is meant for banks or payment apps.
