About NasrTech
NasrTech is my one-person studio in Cairo. I’m Mohamed Nasreldeen, a 3D character animator who builds Android apps and Maya tools, and this site holds the tools, apps and guides that came out of both jobs.
Who runs it
I have worked as a 3D character and creature animator for more than ten years, on games and animated features including Borderlands 4, Smite 2, Mavka: The Forest Song and Secret Magic Control Agency. The roles, studios and showreels are on my animation portfolio, and the author page says what I write about and why.
NasrTech has no parent company and no outside investors. Everything here is built, written and answered by me. You can check who I am on LinkedIn, ArtStation and YouTube.
What I make
- AnimKit is my animation toolkit for Autodesk Maya: 50+ tools across 9 tabs and a dockable toolbar, for Maya 2022 to 2026.
- Store Kit is a Windows app that turns a Flutter or Android project into a full set of Google Play store images. It is free to try; exporting needs a one-time licence.
- Free web tools cover the Google Play icon and feature graphic sizes, privacy policy pages, and everyday image and PDF jobs. Files you drop in are processed in your browser and are not uploaded.
- Android apps on Google Play: DocFlow Scanner, Video Repair, Media Rescue and RAW to JPG.
- The blog has guides on Maya animation, publishing on Google Play, scanning and PDFs, image sizes, and rescuing files on a phone. English is the main language, with selected guides in Arabic and French.
Side projects outside these subjects are listed on other projects.
How the guides are written
I write and review every article on the blog. AI tools help with research and drafting; nothing is published without my check. The rules are short: no fabricated statistics, no invented case studies, no fake reviews and no sponsored articles. A claim is either first-hand, attributed to a named source with a link, or marked as uncertain. The full version is in the editorial standards.
The Arabic and French versions of some guides are AI-assisted translations that I review before publishing.
How the site makes money
Through sales of AnimKit licences and the Store Kit export licence, and through purchases in my Android apps. Some articles and tool pages may show ads served by Google AdSense, and a few articles and tools contain affiliate links, which are marked where they appear.
I do not publish sponsored articles, and neither ads nor affiliate links decide what gets written. Where an article mentions one of my own products, it says so.
