Privacy Policy
Audio Repair is an Android app by NasrTech that repairs voice and audio recordings that won't play. This page says exactly what the app collects, why, and how to turn it off.
What we collect
The app collects no personal information such as your name or email, and your recordings never leave your phone.
- Your recordings. The files you pick are checked and repaired on your phone. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. The copies the app works on stay in its own private storage on your phone; a repaired file is saved only where you choose, or shared only with the app you pick. The list of recent recordings is read from Android's media index on your phone and is not sent anywhere.
Google services built in:
- Firebase Analytics records app events — for example that a repaired sample was played, that the price screen was opened or that a purchase was made — as short codes and counts, with your device model, Android version, language and country and an app-instance identifier Firebase creates for this installation. When a purchase fails, the event also carries the Google Play Store version, which app installed this one and whether it runs in a second profile or a cloner app, so payment problems can be told apart from app bugs. Events never include your recordings, their names or anything you type.
- Firebase Crashlytics records crash reports (device model, Android version, an installation identifier and a technical stack trace) so faults can be fixed.
Both are optional: switch off Settings › Share usage statistics and the app sends no usage events and no crash reports from then on. See Firebase privacy.
Ads
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Where the law requires it (EEA, UK, Switzerland) the app asks for your consent with Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and Settings › Ad privacy choices (shown where it applies) lets you change your choice. AdMob may use the advertising ID, IP address and device information to show and measure ads; see how Google uses data in ads. The unlimited plan removes ads.
Purchases
Repairs are sold through Google Play Billing: one recording as a one-time purchase, or an unlimited plan for 3 months or a year as a subscription. We never receive or store your payment details. The app keeps only, on your device, which recording is unlocked and whether a plan is active. Manage or cancel a subscription in the Google Play Store.
Permissions
- Internet — used for the usage data, ads and Google Play purchases described here.
- Google Play Billing — to show prices and complete purchases through Google Play.
- Advertising ID — read by Google's ad and analytics SDKs; you can reset or delete it in Android's settings.
More apps list
A "More apps" list in the app downloads a small catalog of our other apps (names, short descriptions and icons) from www.nasrtech.dev. The request carries nothing about you or your recordings; like any web request, it reaches our server with your IP address.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
- Change your ad consent: Settings › Ad privacy choices.
- Stop usage data and crash reports at any time: Settings › Share usage statistics.
- Uninstalling the app removes everything it kept in its own storage; repaired recordings you saved stay where you saved them.
- The usage data we hold is not linked to your name or email. To ask for its deletion, email support@nasrtech.dev and we will delete the app-instance data we can match to your request.
